Today the headlines are all about the Fed potentially raising interest rates in 2023, but according to my guest today, Yra Harris, the real story is China on how they are creating global inflation. Yra opened my eyes by discussing how China is increasing the value of their currency and buying up commodities across the board creating inflation and that should be the focus of commodity traders. The only tool the fed has to slow this global inflation is to raise interest rates, but that is very unlikely. Yra and I had a great discussion today on the latest FOMC meeting, Paul Tudor Jones recent comments, and Powell’s comments following the Fed statement.
