Q. What Trader has influenced your career the most and why?
A. Adam Mancini. Adam has clean and objective technical analysis, while executing his trades in a methodical and disciplined manner. Also he’s a swell guy.
Q. What was one of the hardest things for you to overcome in Trading?
A. My natural inclination as a new trader was to keep losers and add to them. It was a struggle to break that behavior pattern, but I found that knowing before the trade any conditions where adding is part of the process has helped me to break the cycle.
Q. How has your trading process evolved over the years?
A. It’s gone from gambling to a channel based methodology using RSI trend lines as confirmation.
Q. What is one attribute that you believe every trader should have?
A. Tenacity
Q. If you had to pick a profession other than trading, what would it be?
A. Software sales. Because I loved it.
Q. Favorite Book about Trading?
A. My Trading Journal.
Q. What’s the best advice you received about Trading?
A. Learn from your mistakes to iteratively become better.
Q. If you can give a piece of advice to the younger you about trading, what would it be?
A. Cut losers quickly.
